Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 5, 2026

This document is a draft prepared for review by the clinic's own legal professional before publication.

Who we are

IQ Demo Clinic is the brand name of IQ Demo Clinic LLC, a perimenopause and menopause care practice located at 123 Demo Lane, Austin, Texas 78701. Care is provided by Dr. Jules Abbott. In this policy, "we", "us" and "the clinic" mean IQ Demo Clinic.

We know that questions about hormones, energy, sleep and mood are personal. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect through our website and online funnels, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to:

This policy does not cover your medical records. See "Health information" below. Our Terms of Use are available at /legal/terms.html and this Privacy Policy lives at /legal/privacy.html.

Information we collect

Information you give us through our forms

When you register for the free masterclass, book a call, join a program or contact us, our forms collect:

Our website forms never collect health records.

SMS consent

When you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we record that consent along with your number.

Payment information

When you buy the Energy Reset Call, the Perimenopause Energy Reset, The Hormone Rhythm Program or the Rhythm Membership, payment is taken online through our CRM's checkout and order forms using Stripe. We receive confirmation of your purchase and basic billing details. We do not store your full card number.

Analytics and attribution

To understand whether our marketing is working, our pages record:

Video viewing

Our webinar and video pages record viewing activity: whether you watched, how long you watched, and how far through the video you got. We use this to improve the content and to follow up with viewers.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to support the analytics, attribution, video tracking and advertising measurement described in this policy. See "Cookies, analytics and Meta ads tracking" below.

Health information

Our website and funnels collect contact and marketing details only. They are not designed to collect medical records, and you should not enter medical details into our sign-up or quiz forms.

If you become a patient of the clinic, your patient records and protected health information (PHI) are handled under our separate Notice of Privacy Practices and our obligations under HIPAA. Those records are created through our clinic intake and consent process, not through this website.

Telehealth consultations are not recorded unless we tell you in advance and you give your consent.

Watching our free masterclass, downloading our content or joining an educational program does not make you a patient and does not create a provider-patient relationship. That relationship begins only when you book a consultation and complete the clinic's separate intake and consent process.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

Leads from our forms go into our connected CRM, which handles the follow-up messages, bookings and checkout described above.

SMS program terms

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from IQ Demo Clinic. Messages may include appointment reminders, webinar reminders and marketing.

Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

Cookies, analytics and Meta ads tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Our pages can be connected to the Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API. When connected, information about your visits, leads and bookings is shared with Meta so we can measure and improve our ads. Meta's own privacy policy governs how Meta uses that information.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how our pages work. You can also adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram account settings.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only as needed to run the clinic and our programs:

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with anyone for their own marketing.

Hosting

Our funnel pages are hosted for us by ClinicIQ. Our main website runs on WordPress and is hosted by ClinicIQ. These providers process information on our behalf and under our instructions.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy and to meet our legal obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take care with the information you trust us with.

Your choices and rights

You can:

To make a request, email us at privacy@example.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

California residents

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you additional rights:

We do not sell personal information. Where ad tracking such as the Meta pixel is connected, that may be treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out by emailing privacy@example.com or by adjusting your cookie and ad settings as described above.

To exercise any California right, contact us at privacy@example.com. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Texas residents

If you live in Texas, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act may give you rights to access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data, where the law applies. We do not sell personal data. To exercise these rights, or to appeal a decision we make about your request, contact us at privacy@example.com.

Children

Our website, funnels, consultations and programs are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us at privacy@example.com.

Links to other websites

Our pages may link to websites or services we do not control, including social media platforms and video tools. This policy does not cover those sites. Please read their privacy policies before sharing information with them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version at /legal/privacy.html and update the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know, such as by email or a notice on our website.
